Refer a friend: the reward and the rules attached
Referral programs pay a reward when someone signs up through your personal invite link and meets certain conditions — typically a minimum deposit and some turnover. It is a common and legitimate promotion, wrapped in anti-fraud rules that, if ignored, cancel everything. Here is how such programs usually work and what to check if your 389win account shows a refer-a-friend offer.
How inviting works
The program generates a personal link or code in your account. Your friend has to use it during registration; a referral added after the account exists usually does not count. The reward unlocks once the referred player meets the conditions: qualifying deposit, turnover and sometimes completed identity verification.
Rules that void a referral
- One person, one account. Referring yourself with another email or device is fraud and can close both accounts.
- Same household or device. Some programs limit referrals within one address, network or device.
- Third-party payments. Paying for someone else's deposit, or using their payment method, breaks most terms.
- Spam. Mass-posting a referral link can breach the program rules.
What a referral reward is worth
| Item | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Reward per qualified friend | — | 50 units bonus money |
| Wagering 10x | 50 × 10 | 500 units of bets |
| Expected cost at 96.75% | 500 × 3.25% | 16.25 units |
| Expected value | 50 − 16.25 | ≈ 33.75 units |
Illustrative example, not a 389win term. If the reward is paid as cash, its value is the headline number; if it is bonus money, run the wagering maths.
Responsibility toward the people you invite
Inviting is recommending. Gambling is for adults only (18+, or older where local law says so), and not everyone has a relaxed relationship with it. Do not invite someone who is trying to stop, who is in debt or who is underage. Share what this site explains too: bonuses have rules, and gambling is paid entertainment, not income. Warning signs are listed under responsible gambling.
A bonus for the referred player
Some programs give the new player a bonus as well. Treat it like any welcome bonus: percentage, base, multiplier, deadline and max bet. It usually does not stack with another first-deposit offer — check the stacking rule.
Referral checklist
- Where your link or code lives and how long it is valid.
- Conditions your friend must meet, and by when.
- Cash reward or bonus money with wagering.
- Referral limits per account and anti-fraud rules.
