389win bonuses: price the offer, then decide
A casino bonus is a contract, not a gift. It adds balance to your account and, in exchange, sets conditions on when that balance — and anything you win with it — can leave. This hub covers every bonus format that may appear in a 389win account and gives you one method to value all of them. Offers differ by country, account and date, so nothing here states that a particular 389win promotion is live. The numbers in our examples are invented to teach the arithmetic.

The one formula worth memorising
Expected value of a bonus ≈ bonus − required turnover × (1 − RTP). Turnover is the bonus (or deposit plus bonus) multiplied by the wagering requirement. RTP is the game's long-run return; 1 − RTP is the house edge you pay on every unit you bet. Everything else on this page is a variation of that line.
| Step | Calculation | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus credited | — | 100 units |
| Wagering 30x the bonus | 100 × 30 | 3,000 units of bets |
| Average cost at 96.75% RTP | 3,000 × 3.25% | 97.5 units |
| Expected value | 100 − 97.5 | ≈ 2.5 units |
Illustrative example, not a 389win term. A 100-unit bonus is worth roughly two and a half units on average once the turnover is paid for. If the 30x applied to deposit plus bonus, the turnover would double and the value would turn negative.

Why the game you choose changes the price
Two slots we reviewed have independently verified RTPs: Zombie Blasters by PG Soft at 96.75% and Piggy Brick Bonanza by ELA Games at 94.03%. Clearing 3,000 units of turnover costs about 97.5 units on the first and 179.1 on the second. The same bonus can be worth something or worth less than nothing depending on where you play it — which is why the in-game info panel matters as much as the promotion page.
Volatility decides whether you reach the finish
Average cost assumes you complete the turnover. On high-volatility slots, long losing stretches are normal and the balance can hit zero halfway. When that happens, the bonus is worth zero, not 2.5 units. Smaller stakes per spin buy more spins and a better chance of finishing; big stakes chase big hits and usually end early. Pick one goal per session. The full treatment is on the wagering page.
Five clauses that decide every offer
- Multiplier and base — 30x the bonus is half of 30x deposit plus bonus.
- Time limit — big turnover in a few days forces big stakes or long sessions.
- Max bet while the bonus is active — one oversized spin can void winnings.
- Game contribution — slots often count 100%; table and live games often less or nothing.
- Max cashout — common on no-deposit offers; it caps the upside.
All of them are explained with examples in bonus terms.
Declining is a valid strategy
If you play rarely, prefer to withdraw quickly, or mostly play table games that contribute little, a bonus can be more obstacle than help. Playing with your own money keeps withdrawals free of promotional locks. Set your budget first — tools are on the responsible gambling page — and let no offer push it up.
Seasonal offers and limited-time promos
Weekend boosts, holiday bonuses, mystery rewards and lucky wheels follow the same logic with added urgency. Countdown timers exist to shorten your reading time. Open the terms, find the multiplier, multiply, compare with the RTP of the game you would use. If you cannot find the terms, treat the offer as not worth taking.
